Only a 2 minute walk from Greenhaven in the village of Sedgeford. A comfortable pub with great food (and dog friendly!)

The best beaches

Heacham beach - Only 3 miles West of Greenhaven. Dog friendly and you can walk round to Hunstanton if you're feeling energetic!

Brancaster beach - Only 8 miles North of Greenhaven. An expansive beach with a shipwreck! Dog friendly.

Old Hunstanton beach - Just 4 miles North of Greenhaven. Beautiful sand dune beaches beneath the cliffs of Old Hunstanton. Ideal for a more peaceful beach visit than Hunstanton itself. Children will love the dunes!

Places to visit

Norfolk Lavender - Barely a mile from Greenhaven. This renowned lavender farm has tea rooms, boutique shops and farm animals for the children

Pensthorpe - Just outside Fakenham, this beautiful nature reserve has an extensive selection of wild and exotic birds, pond-dipping, walks of different lengths and tractor tours. A great family day out

Langham glass - A local, traditional glass maker selling a variety of wares and giving constant demonstrations of glass blowing and making. Coffee shop.

Oasis swimming pool - In the centre of Hunstanton, this pool is perfect for the family, complete with flume and cafe

Sea Life Hunstanton - On the beach edge of Hunstanton Sea Life centre with interest and attractions for all the family!

Sandringham - The House and Gardens of the Queen's estate in Sandringham. Free to park and wander in the grounds, although the house and formal gardens are chargeable.

Titchwell Marsh RSPB - A renowned RSPB site showcasing some of Norfolk's finest coastal wildfowl

Sedgeford Historical and Archialogical Research Project - An exciting local dig uncovering secrets of Sedgeford's past!
